About Kyle
I am a versatile multi-instrumentalist hailing from Adel, Iowa, boasting over a decade of experience in music composition, performance, arrangement, and recording. Drawing inspiration from diverse genres including folk, indie, rock, and Christian music, my musical prowess extends across an array of instruments, including the acoustic and electric guitar, piano, bass, mandolin, banjo, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, drums, and various percussion instruments. Influenced by prominent acts such as the Civil Wars, Cory Wong, Cody Fry, the Grey Havens, and Nickel Creek, my eclectic style embodies a fusion of musical influences.
My journey in music started at the age of seven with the piano, leading me to explore instruments like the alto saxophone and eventually settling on the trombone, which became my focus throughout my collegiate studies. Graduating with a degree in trombone performance and music education from the esteemed University of Iowa, my musical journey took me and my wife, Kelly, to Mexico City following our marriage. It was there that I honed my skills in music production and recording, uncovering a passion for capturing and refining my compositions in the studio. I currently operate and teach lessons at Noted Studios in Adel, Iowa.
